Mechanical Planning and Spare Parts Preparation Engineer
Maintenance
main job details
- Responsible for preparing maintenance plans in coordination with O&M contractors to plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly).
- Follow up on and supervise major shutdowns, overhauls, PMs, and refurbishment projects to ensure proper planning and scheduling.
- Identify required spare parts based on criticality and consumption, including preparing purchase requisitions, evaluating suppliers, inspecting spare parts, and providing technical approvals.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget (CAPEX & OPEX).
- Create and manage spare parts material descriptions, codes, BOMs, and technical specifications in SAP.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Skills
- - Ability to use discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong presentation and reporting abilities - Effective planning and organizational skills. - Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a cement plant planning and spare parts preparation department.
