AL MOQAWEM pozzolanic Sulfate-Resisting Cement (SR) improves the performance of concrete where the risk of sulfate attack may exist. It also provides durability for the concrete in most aggressive environments, reducing the risk of deterioration of the structure and structural failure, used for areas where sulfate exists in the surrounding soil, groundwater, or seawater, and areas where the structure is exposed to hydrostatic pressure.

This cement has a lower heat of hydration, which protects the concrete from cracking during the hydration process in case of high heat of hydration.

Its pozzolanic composition makes concrete more impermeable and denser as compared to Ordinary Portland Cement due to its low porosity, and has higher resistance than normal Portland cement. Moreover, it reduces the leaching of calcium hydroxide liberated during the hydration of cement.

Handling & Storage

• Should be stored in a dry place
• Should be stored on wooden bases
• Should not accumulate more than 10 bags in one stack
