Quality Control Engineer

Quality Control and Quarries

Perform and supervise physical tests, including setting time, soundness, standard consistency, compressive strength, and grindability, in accordance with applicable standards.
Conduct wet chemical and instrumental analyses such as XRF and AAS to determine chemical composition accurately.
Prepare samples, reagents, pressed pellets, and fused beads for chemical and X-ray analysis with high precision.
Perform daily and random cross-checks on physical and chemical test results to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and consistency.
Validate analytical methods and results through internal checks and comparison with reference standards.
Ensure proper calibration, routine verification, and correct operation of all laboratory equipment and instruments.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or applied science.
Skills: - Strong knowledge of cement physical and chemical testing methods and international standards. - Familiar with XRF, AAS, and laboratory quality control systems. - High attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Experience: Experience in cement, building materials, or industrial laboratories is preferred (from 2 to 3 years).
